My name is Kim Ryan, and I am honored to be running for Secretary of our NTEU chapter. I currently serve as an Attorney Advisor in the San Francisco Hearing Office, a position I have proudly held since 2009. Over the years, I have seen firsthand how important it is to have a strong union that advocates for fairness, transparency, and respect in the workplace.

For the past two years, I have served as a union representative, working closely with members to address concerns, build solidarity, and strengthen our voices. This experience has deepened my belief in the power of communication and shared purpose. As Secretary, I would bring strong organizational skills, and a deep commitment to keeping our membership informed and engaged.

I am running because I believe that when everyone understands what is happening and why, we are all stronger. I care deeply about the mission of NTEU and the people behind it. If elected, I will continue to advocate for transparency, support our board, and ensure every member feels connected to the work we do together.
